Manitu Partners have a wealth of experience and knowledge in assisting companies in achieving their desired goals. Each partner has over 25 years' experience. A brief overview of Manitu's four partners is provided below.

Alan Klein - Founder and President
Alan Klein, Founder and President of Manitu Communications, LLC helps executives formulate and execute corporate strategy. Alan’s strength is turning strategy into tangible results. He has strong operational, analytical, and conceptual capabilities.  Using his 25 years of experience in implementing large strategic initiatives, devising strategy, and acting as an extension of management, Alan is able to help companies develop and implement the best plan to successfully execute strategy – which is where most companies falter.

Alan’s functional experience spans systems, operations and technology, to finance and strategy.  Alan began his career with IBM as a systems analyst, and then joined Touche Ross (now Deloitte Consulting) as a management consultant. He has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.

Catherine Nichols - Partner and VP Communication Services
Catherine has extensive experience in trade association management, primarily in the health care/pharmaceutical industry. She was the Managing Editor of the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, a peer-reviewed pharmacy journal, for over 12 years. Catherine was responsible for all facets of the publication process as well as handling copyright matters. In addition to providing consulting services, she arranges and develops customized print/live educational and marketing products for industry conferences. Catherine has a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.

Kelley Jensen - Partner and VP Marketing & Sales
Kelley has over 20 years experience working in the communications, utilities, and technology sectors. She has extensive hands-on experience providing clients with appropriate technology solutions to fulfill their telecommunications and networking needs. In addition to being a founding member of Manitu, Kelley has held operations, sales and marketing positions in Avaya, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and Ameritech. Kelley has an MBA, and BA in Marketing, from Michigan State University.

E. L. Klein - Partner and Senior Advisor
Gene is a founding member of Manitu. He held the position of COO and Executive Vice President at Williams International, a turbine engine manufacturer in Walled Lake, MI. He is distinguished in the area of applying innovative management processes to achieve superior results, and has received many management achievement awards. Gene has held numerous offices in the community including serving on various Boards in the Health Care industry. He is a graduate of Wichita State University and received the College of Engineering's prestigious Distinguished Alumnus award.
